The Kentucky Arts Council is the state's arts agency and is responsible for developing and promoting support for the arts in Kentucky.

Kentucky Crafted is an adjudicated program operated by the Kentucky Arts Council that provides assistance to Kentucky visual and craft artists through marketing, promotional opportunities and arts business training.


The purpose of the Kentucky Crafted Program is to support professional visual and craft artists and promote a diverse selection of high quality art in Kentucky.

Compiled by the Kentucky Arts Council, these are resources that offer valuable information and may be of use as the arts community.

The Women's Business Center of Kentucky helps women entrepreneurs, especially those who are economically or socially disadvantaged, start and grow businesses in the state of Kentucky.

The Blue Grass Community Foundation is where people go to give to enhance the quality of life in Central and Appalachia Kentucky. We connect charitable individuals, families, businesses, communities and nonprofit organizations with causes they care about to meet community needs and make a difference.

The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), established in Congress in 1965, is an independent federal agency that is the largest funder of the arts and arts education in communities nationwide and a catalyst of public and private support for the arts.


By advancing equitable opportunities for arts participation and practice, the NEA fosters and sustains an environment in which the arts benefit everyone in the United States.

The Kentucky Small Business Development Center has been assisting the Commonwealth’s small business community for over 40 years. With 15 centers statewide and an experienced and knowledgeable staff, the Kentucky SBDC provides unparalleled business coaching and training services to help existing business owners and potential entrepreneurs start, grow, and succeed.

Our services include: one-on-one business coaching, training workshops, access to market research, loan packaging help, assistance with financial projections and information needed to make informed business decisions.

Art Inc. Kentucky, a Community Ventures social enterprise, is a non-profit, member-focused business and marketing incubator for artists and creatives, providing emerging and established artists and creatives with the services, resources, and educational opportunities needed to broaden their exposure, increase their income, and build long-term sustainable businesses.  Art Inc. Kentucky also works to encourage cultural, economic and social investments in the community.
